Apex Lending Limited which owns Apex Lending met the requirements of the Interim Regulatory and Registrationrequirements for Digital Money Lenders in Nigeria pursuant to the Limited InterimRegulatory/Registration Framework and Guidelines for Digital lending, 2022.
This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our personal loan app, Apex Lending (the “App”).
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you should not use the App.
Collection Of Personal Information
We may collect the following types of personal information from you when you use the App
Personal identification information: This may include your name, contact information (such as your email address, phone number, whatsapp number, address), date of birth, and other similar information that you provide to us when you create an account or apply for a loan(such as Bank account information and ID information)
Financial information: This may include information about your income, employment status, and credit history that we collect from you or from third-party sources when you apply for a loan.
Other information: This may include information about your device, location, and usage of the App that we collect through cookies, log files, and other similar technologies,Call Log
,SMS,Installed Apps,Device ,Camera.
What Permissions Do We Need To Access From You
Assess your eligibility and facilitate faster. To pay your loan, we need these permissions
Contact List
We need to collect 2 of your emergency contact information so that we can contact you in an emergency and conduct risk management and anti-fraud checks. We only need two emergency contacts. Manually fill in the names and mobile numbers of the two emergency contacts in the emergency contact option on the personal information page. Please note that we do not have access to your contact details. The 2 contact information we collect will be kept confidential, encrypted and stored on our server (https://apex-lending-app.com), will not be disclosed to any third party and will only be used within this app use.
Image
We will collect images taken by users during the loan application process for identity verification purposes only. We only collect surveillance identification documents and please note that we will not access your device's photo album and cannot obtain all pictures. We will upload the image data to our server (https://apex-lending-app.com), which securely protected. Additionally, we will never share your personal data with third parties without your permission.
SMS
With your consent, we will obtain your SMS data only for the purposes of risk management and anti-fraud checks. Apex Lending will upload and transmit your SMS data to our server: https://apex-lending-app.com. Kindly note that Apex Lending will never send off your data to third parties without your permission.
Call Log
When registering an account, you need to receive a dynamic password for verification. After you explicitly agree to the call record permission, we will notify you of the dynamic password by voice call. After the call is completed, we will upload the call record information of the device (including call duration, call status and call number) to our server (https://apex-lending-app.com). Specifically, we call you of the phone tell you password and use the call log to check whether you have received our call, so as to improve the user's experience when registering an account. At the same time, we can also confirm whether you install our application with your own mobile phone and receive our dynamic code on the same device, which evaluates your credit reliability. All data will be kept confidential and encrypted, and will never be shared with third parties.
Location
During the loan process, we collect and monitor information about the coarse location of the device (latitude and longitude) for customer risk assessment and scoring. We do not know the precise location of your device. Your information will be kept confidential and encrypted on our server (https://apex-lending-app.com ), will not be disclosed to any third party, and will only be used by this application.
Device Information
When registering/logging in, we will collect specific information about your device, including your device name, model, regional and language settings, device identification code, device software and hardware information, status, usage habits, unique device identifiers (such as IMEI and serial number) to uniquely identify the device and ensure that unauthorized devices cannot take action on your behalf to prevent fraud. Your information will be kept confidential and encrypted on our server ( https://apex-lending-app.com ), will not be disclosed to any third party, and will only be used by this application.
App List
In order to protect account security and implement business risk control, we collect a list of installed application metadata information. This includes the app name, package name, install time, update time, version name, and version code for each app installed on the device. Lenders: If you apply for a loan through the App, we may disclose your personal and financial information to lenders who are interested in funding your loan.

Credit bureaus. We may report information about your account to credit bureaus. Late payments, missed payments, or other defaults on your account may reflect on your credit report.
We will not disclose information about personally identifiable individuals to other parties except to comply with an order of a court, arbitration panel, tribunal, investigative panel, or any other legal or regulatory obligation, although we may provide them with anonymous or aggregated information about our users information.
Data Security
We use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures and security safeguards, where reasonably possible, to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, interference and/or unauthorized access, use, disclosure or alteration of our information under control. Your Rights
We attach great importance to and protect your rights to manage personal information, and provide you with methods to manage personal information. You have the right to access, correct, delete, revoke your own information, cancel your account and protect your privacy and security.
1. Except for the exceptions stipulated by laws and regulations, no matter when you use our services, we will try our best to let you check your personal information smoothly

When you need to update your personal information, or find that we have made an error in processing your personal information, you can contact customer service to make corrections, or submit your correction application to us through feedback and error reporting. Before you can make an update or correction, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.
3. Unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, you can request us to delete personal information.
4. You can contact us to cancel your account. When you cancel your account, we will stop providing services to you and we will no longer collect, use or provide personal information related to the account, but we will still provide or generate personal information during your use of Apex Lending services. It needs to be preserved according to the time stipulated by laws and regulations and regulatory requirements, and cooperate with the inquiries of competent authorities according to the law within the time of preservation.
Data Retention And Disposal
In order to protect your legitimate rights and interests, generally speaking, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and administrative regulations, we only save your personal information for the shortest time necessary to achieve the purpose of processing. For example: when you sign up for Apex Lending, we need to collect your mobile phone number, and keep your mobile phone number during your use of the Qifu Wallet platform service, so as to ensure that you can log in to the Qifu Wallet platform and use related services normally.
When you delete or cancel your account, we will keep your personal information for 5 years after the date you delete or cancel your account.
When my products or services cease to operate, we will notify you by means of notices, announcements, text messages, etc., and delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period of time.
When your personal information exceeds our storage period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.
After anonymization, your personal information will form data that can be used and circulated. We do not need to notify you and obtain your consent for the storage and processing of such data.
